Yamaha Motor Translucent profit of Rp 3 Trillion(Indonesia) in 2011
Yamaha Motor Corporation (YMC)Indonesian managed to earn a net profit of U.S. $ 345 million or Rp 3.089 trillion in 2011. Yamaha previous year net income was only U.S. $ 243 million.
Throughout 2010 Yamaha managed to record sales of 6.96 million units, increased slightly in 2011 6.98 million units. Japan's earthquake and tsunami barriers and flooding Thailand did not affect sales and increase profits.
Increase in sales derived from the Central American market, China, India and Vietnam. In Indonesia through 3.914 million units or more accounted for 50% of total sales of Yamaha in the world.

To meet these ambitions YMC set aside U.S. $ 906 million or USD 8.1 billion for research and development.
