"Beezerker",Aluminum motor is Simple
Many observers motorcycle that attempts to give identity to recognize this bike. Some call it "steam punk",then the others say "art deco".However,who is suspected if the motor was nicknamed "Beezerker" This is the fruit of the hands of designers who had worked in the field of furniture and the restoration of a collection of Japanese samurai.
Hence,at first glance the bike like a display of an artist of avant-garde, while his sharp and flat, like a samurai.
Chris Flechtner, the creator, do not use an iron plate to form the body, but aluminum. With the expertise of cutting and printing of metal,it was simple motor body is composed.
He uses some material from the BSA 650 motorcycle made in 1965, including engine and transmission. The chassis is the claim of his own home modifications, Speed Shop Design, located in Seattle, USA.
A unique,Chris also uses a BMX bike handlebars for steering, and no pair or suspension swing arm so that the motor is guaranteed shaking when driving on uneven roads. Wheels were deliberately balanced front-rear wheels with a pair of vintage radius size of 20 inches and tire size 3.85-20 Firestone thick-style cafe racer.
For all this, Chris was awarded the AMD World Custom Bike Building Championship for classes Freestyle
